Other than Internet Explorer and Firefox you could try Crazy Browser (Internet Explorer based) and K-Meleon (based on Firefox) Personally I use K-meleon and it seems that I am not getting as many please wait issues now... my family has 7 accounts and 7 different computers of varying ages and I haven't seen where 1 computer freezes more than another....

We are having the same problem with our accounts. Here we have four in people with different accounts, and two computers. Two of the accounts, mine and my mom's, freezes up just the way you described when we try to open storage on the rare occasion that we are even able to get in to play. We usually get PLEASE WAIT........ no matter how long we wait we do not get in. What are snowflakes?????(lol) That is how can we possibly participate in the winterfest when we cannot even get in to play. The other accounts are fine when used on the same computers. It is unfair to see my sisters get to play the winterfest when mom and I can't even play. Ganz is wrong about the cookies being the problem. We have jumped through all those hoops to try to play.

I hope someone can help us................I can't WAIT any longer.

nuttienetz, you sound like you are having the same problem as my mom. Although my account works fine, I feel guilty because she is never able to get onto hers and play. If she gets items from storage it will freeze and she has to sign off, she can't get in the w-shop.. it's just a total mess. Hmm. snowflakes are part of winterfest. it has been going on all week in webkinz world. Around every 11 minutes you have a chance that a snowflake will float by and if you click it you will be awarded a winterfest item to your dock. However, winterfest ends tonight at midnight. I have been able to get at least 1 of every winterfest item on my account (which works fine) but my mom has only gotten 1 item. :-/ I'll keep you posted if I find out anything this week from Ganz. Please let me know if you find out anything...so sorry you are experiencing these problems. I can relate to your frustration.

I just got off the phone with a Ganz rep and she said that it was something that they are having trouble with that it is not my account. She said that they are having trouble with some of their servers and they are working to fix it. She said that she did not know how long it would take but that they are working to correct the problem.

I am annoyed. They should stop focusing on creating all these new features and new items and correct their server problems first! Hopefully if we keep calling and complaining they will have it corrected soon.

Out of 7 accounts, we only have a problem with 2 and that's late afternoon and evening. So I think it's the server that they are on.

yes i have had this problem before what you do is go into your computer check for any viris that are usually called slow and you delete it and it works perfectly fine .
