Default Unanswered: Please wait... PLEASE STOP.

I am wondering if anyone else is having a problem with the please wait message. My account works fine and isn't having any problems. My mom's account has been having the problem since before Christmas. Every time you click something it says "please wait..." for at least 30 seconds. It takes FOREVER for her to garden. She cannot get things from storage without her account locking up and having to sign off and sign back on. She has not been able to get any of the winterfest items because her screen says please wait as a snowflake floats on by.. she has contacted customer service several times about this and they say that it is working fine for them when they sign on.. blah blah, they tell her it's her computer and some junk about needing to clear her cookies. This is not true because her account acts this way regardless of the computer used. I can sign onto her account at my house and it is the same way. Anyone have any ideas? I wish there was something I could do so she count catch some snowflakes. :-( please help!!

Hmm, well, im not quite sure what to do since you have contacted ganz. I personally don't have this problem but you may just want to keep trying. I'm stumped. Sorry.

In something it said that about 1% of accounts will have problems like this that are hard to/can't be solved. I hope this gets fixed!

P.S. welcome to WI

thanks for responding guys.. we're super annoyed with it because of all the money invested in it. I am going to try to contact Ganz this week and see if they have any other ideas..but I was hoping someone might know something that could help tonight since winterfest is almost over. I have a lot more pets than she does and my account is working fine.. but her's has been acting this way for at least a month.

Me too. I think it is the Webkinz servers. I found out the requirements for my computer to use Webkinz and I have all they say I need...in fact I have more than required. I now clear my cache every time before logging in, no help. I have no other problems on any other internet sites, but have had over a month of frustrating Webkinz experiences. It's not how many pets like some have suggested as I have an account with one pet that does it too. I find if I stay up late late late at night when everyone must be sleeping it works like a dream, but I can't stay up that late hardly at all, one because I fall asleep, two because I'm not supposed to be up that late. Not sure how to fix except to let Ganz know of your problems.

Thanks for your input catcaretaker, I agree with you-- it can't be the computer because my mom uses a brand new laptop and she can sign on my account at her house and it works fine.. it's something specific to her account. i have no idea what it could be though.. how frustrating!

The only thing that I can think of which would make it account-specific is that certain accounts tend to log into certain servers, and those servers are having the problems. I have been experiencing the same problems as your mom, especially during winterfest. I haven't been able to load my dock properly to send mail or shop at the W-Shop.

Yesterday, I removed over a hundred items from my dock and put them into storage rooms, and that seemed to help for a bit. However, today, I haven't gotten to do very much at all on the site because it locks up with the "Please wait..." notice.

Hmm.

Have you tried

- Clearing your cookies?
- Restarting your computer?
- Switched interenet browsers (ex. from internet explorer to firefox, etc. or vice versa)
- clearing part of your dock out?
- logging in on a different computer than the usual one?

And remember, patience is key.

So sorry to hear you are having the same problems, rainribbon, I am going to be contacting Ganz this week and if, by chance, they are able to help me ... I will pass along the information to you. Best of luck catching those snowflakes with the added sport of please wait...
