I have been having frequent "Please Wait" when I try to put items from my dock into a room, moving item around in the room, and even when trying to feed my pet from the dock. I have to log out and sign back in. Is anyone else having this problem? It's been soooo frustrating trying to decorate a room and logging on/off constantly.
I was having this trouble a lot yesterday...I think it happens more frequently during "peak" times (high internet traffic), like during the weekends.
I was even having trouble in the Trading Room at like 11:00pm last night where stuff wouldn't stay in the trading box from my dock and people would leave 'cause I couldn't get the items to stick, so they just thought I was being real slow...argh!
The only solution I found was what you already said..log out / log in.
Sorry I wasn't more help, just thought I'd let you know you're not alone in the boat
I used to have a greater problem with that than I do now. I think I was impatiently clicking more than once, rather than waiting for WW to react to my first click. You might be very careful about this, and see if your number of times logging in & out doesn't lessen. Or maybe, you are only clicking once, but going to the next item and clicking there before Ganz and WW has fully reacted to the first click on the previous choice.
If you are on other more responsive programs, you might be in the mode of working faster than the massive websites in Ganzworld will allow. Slow yourself down a bit and see if it doesn't help. It surely did for me!
The other thing which helps is having your caches on your computer cleared of temporary files and footprints, cookies, etc.
But some of it is just the traffic, as others have pointed out.
