My daughter has had some serious issues with her largest account. Past history on this account has shown that GANZ did not plan for the amount of pets, activity and rooms. We have survived previous issues, but I'd have to say my confidence level of how GANZ would handle future serious issues is a little on the low side.

I think it's very unfortunate that you are experiencing such serious issues. I hope GANZ will get your accounts working for you, as well as, for the others in the same situation.

Webkinz for many can't just be simply calculated as an investment. It's an investment in time, money, experiences, collecting and even can be life changing for some. Webkinz reaches so many demographics. Combined with the challenges of the economic changes forthcoming, it would be prudent for GANZ to revisit product quality versus product quantity.

For me, I would personally go for a few less features in WW if that meant that what is offered worked efficiently. With children, their expectations are high. When they go on-line to play they want it to work. Many families have to offer computer time to more then one child. How frustrating for a child to finally get their PC time only to find they can't play their favorite game. Their only choice is to find something else. I've seen it in my home. My daughter will chose other PC games that do work.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I hope you have access to your accounts soon....same for the others that have issues too.

For the last two days, my account has seemed really slow, such as Goober's Lab atoms falling into place so slowly I didn't even want to play. Tonight, I went to Adobe Flash and Adobe Shockwave and downloaded the newest version.
It fixed it immediately.

I wonder if Ganz has updated their programming but didn't make an announcement.
Do they historically make announcements like that?

Ah, friend Whimzy, you make some fine points as usual! I really really miss playing in my accounts, designing rooms, and trading. Thanks for the encouragement!

I'm sorry, Moosewyo, I don't know. I don't think anything was released on that topic, but it was mentioned when I was speaking to the representative that I should be running the latest version. Unfortunately, I already was. But I'm really happy that it helped you out! Sometimes a small update can make a big difference, and I'm glad that solved your problem!

We have 6 accounts in the house and 4 different computers. Each and every one of our accounts has the "Please Wait" issue. So much so that my kids have stopped going on all together, and I have started to lose interest myself. There's just no enjoyment in waiting for nothing. I used to go on the kids accounts to keep up with their daily activiities, but I don't have the patience to 'please wait' any longer.

I haven't called as of yet because their 9-5 hours don't work with my schedule. At this point I don't even want to bother with it anyway. I am anxious to hear if you are able to get resolution.

(For the record, I have done the whole cache clearing, disk cleanup, different browser. We have large accounts, small accounts, and docks are always under 100 items.)

Must be a server thing - we have 6 accounts - and they are all fine - except the sun is shining so not much time on WW these days anyway.

I find this whole "must buy tons of stuff to have a game work" thing so discouraging - it feels somedays like Ganz is holding me hostage... they put games on WW that my kids can see but not play - unless I buy something... sigh - and if it was just one I wouldn't mind so much - but 12 kinzclips to make zumwhere work? heck I've never seen more than 5 or 6 - and they were $6 - so it would cost me $72 EACH just so the kids could play one game properly! Not to mention 40 ish figures ($3 each - $120!) 24 charms ($1.50 each - $36) - over $200 per child to get the full access to the magic forest - yeep.

And on top of all that a good chance the programs won't run properly?

I wonder how long it will take them to figure out that their drive for $ will eventually kill WW if they are not careful.

Hi Aries! First of all, I must say that I'm really very sorry about the glitches that have been happening to you! I know how annoying and frustrating they can be, trust me! And I have a story. One time, I forget WHY exactly, but I desperately needed to send my brother the Aztec Dresser (again, NO idea why!) but I could not get through Kinzpost! It was SO annoying, and I had to wait a week to send it! My brother was really mad at me...glitches, grrr!!!!!
So, I'm really sorry Aries! I feel your pain!!!! Good luck getting your account fixed. Hope I helped add to your collection of glitch stories!

Well, they're not getting any more of mine. It's been almost a week of problems and I haven't made a purchase since I started having them. I have tons of codes and such that I haven't used, and I'll use those if I need to. I received a shipment of signature, caring valley and potm, but all that I will be using are the POTM.

So, I called in again today twice. First person said that the person in charge of the programming issue wasn't available, call back in a couple of hours. So I did. The second representative was very nice but not able to help either other than to pass on that the issue hadn't been resolved. She politely listened to me whine about not being able to do chores and being upset that I can't do anything in my accounts. She also told me her tools were down so she couldn't even get into my account.

No more of my money goes to Ganz. I'm on strike. I actually looked at my bank account and found that I average about $250 per month. Then we had that run where Signature, TC4, Caring Valley, Deluxe, all that just came out. My Signature, TC4, and Klips were backordered, so by the time they all arrived I had a bill for $416 from my retailer for that order alone! Holy moley! And the ones that just came in the mail? That was $109 + shipping. No more, I'm on strike. And if it goes on long enough, well...I guess I'll find other things to do.

So, a couple of questions...if it weren't for the website, how many Webkinz would you own? Let me guess that it isn't as many as you have right now...

Second question...if you only bought the extra webkinz to enhance your experience on the website (ie POTM, KinzCash, etc) or to unlock an activity, shouldn't it be obvious to Ganz that maintaining and repairing the site should be a major priority?

I doubt I would even have even a single Webkinz if it weren't for the site, and I currently have just under 400 adopted.

Dear Ganz,

I want a badge with a band-aid on it to signify that I've had to receive technical support and that the problem was fixed when this is all over with!

It should be called Boo-Boo Kissed Better Badge, and have a complimentary 5000KC with it!
