Default Answered: Please help with posting spoilers, bullet lists, and colors!

Hi there!
I have a thread with an FAQ in spoilers. In one of my spoilers, I have a bullet list. Some things get automatically formatted and I don't know how to get it look how I was picturing.

Here is a picture of the current FAQ:

See how there are two spoilers that are light purple? How do I make those one's match the other dark purple?

Also, inside the spoiler "so what jobs are there," it looks like this:

I wanted the list in gray and green to be spaced out better, but when I'm editing and hit return, it puts a bullet there where I don't want to have a bullet. If I select the bullet and hit this button,

it makes the whole thing in purple without and indent and when I save it, it automatically formats it in its own spoiler, which I don't want.

How do I use the return button inside of a spoiler inside of a bullet list without getting another bullet and auto-formatting? Is this possible?

Thank you for your help!

I spent a while fiddling with your text, and it is quite temperamental, isn't it?

I don't see a way to not make the return button automatically bullet again because that is what it is designed to do when that button is hit. In addition, the spoiler will automatically create a new spoiler because one section of text is bulleted and the other isn't. As far as I can see, there is no way around those two issues.

My suggestion would be to get rid of your bullets and numbers COMPLETELY. I do not use them because they are so troublesome like that. However, what you can do instead is to use hyphens in place of the bullets, and perhaps format your text to stand out more by making it bold, changing the size, etc.

Would something like this work?

That text is SO much easier to work with.

If you ever want to number a section, it makes a lot more sense to manually do it instead of use the button at the top. Then you can space it however you like and it won't cause any trouble.

If it is possible to get rid of the bullets, I would. Sorry I can't give you a way around those issues besides that...

For the Colors, I think it is because that is the color of the word [spoiler]

EX:

Spoiler: show
Blue

Spoiler: show
Yellow
'

Sometimes, especially in my GE, when the formatting gets really messed up, I just delete all the spoilers, bullets, and quotes, and just redo them
