Hello!!

If your "Prnt Scr" key is combined with the insert key on your keyboard you also need to press a second key simultaneously. There is a key called Function "Fn" on your laptop. You will need to press "Prnt Scr" in combination with the "fn" key to get a screen capture.

Then you should be able to paste into paint.

Good Luck!

Try pressing "Fn + Prt sc" key and press Ctrl + V (edit + paste) in paint brush. Your problem will be solved

Make sure that when you go into paint, you are using the first tool. You can't be using the pencil or paintbrush.

When paint is opened, go to the Edit button, click it, then click the paste button. The picture will then show up

Make sure you press the "Prnt Scrn" (Print Screen) button, otherwise it will not paste into paint. You can find this button in the upper right - hand corner of your keyboard (to the left of the Num Lk [Number Lock] key) Once you are sure you have done that, open up paint and then hold down Ctrl (Control) and V keys and the picture should then be pasted into a paint document where you can then edit it and then upload it to the site.

On regular desktop computers, you can just hit "Print Screen" but on most laptops, you have to hit both "Print Screen" and the "FN" key at the same time. Then, you go into Paint and right-click "Paste".

Here is where the "FN" key should be located on your keyboard:
Click the image to open in full size.
