Unanswered: Pet stuck in a room and it won't open?
I hope someone out there can help me .....
I purchased a purple monster from the e-store last week and have not yet gotten to "play" with it. The very first time it tried to load the room it was loading and got stuck on the "loading characters" icon and then everything froze. I am not able to do anything ... ie, log out, click on an advertisement or load the room. So I logged out by "x'ing" out of the screen, I logged back it and the pet was there and I could get the box and I switched pets and opened it in a room with another pet.
Anyways, I have figured out which room it is in by taking one pet and going into every room I have and the room that is stuck is my outdoor strawberry field, I'm pretty bummed because I haven't been able to do any gardening and all my strawberries have gone to waste.
I have looked on the customer support page and there is a "my pet is stuck" question, but then it asks you what kind of pet and they don't have the purple monster listed as one of their pets ..... what do you think I should do?
Hmm perhaps you could put in the purple monster's secret code in the stuck pet form, and a different type of pet, just to see if it accepts the form. I have found Ganz to be extremely responsive to the stuck pet forms so far (I've had several pets get stuck, probably because I have so many pets in each room.)
Did you have wall to wall strawberries? This is what happens when the pet doesn't have a place to go in the room. To keep this from happening again, you will need to leave at least one space free. To be safe I left all four squares in the center of my garden empty.
The "My Pet is Stuck" form is the right option, since only Ganz can help you at this point. I would just list another pet. Your best bet might be to just call. The email route usually takes a couple of days. I hope you get it fixed soon!
1) I got a pet stuck in a room. To get it out, I went into another room and went to "my pets" and selected the stuck pet and it came up. It was sick, but I could play with it.
2) That however, did not get my room unstuck. I couldn't use the stuck room entry for Ganz because even though I had the right info, it reported that I did not.
So then I went to Customer Support, then clicked on the Comments and Suggestions button, then clicked on "Our Question Does Not Appear Above" button. That gives you a form to fill out with a brief explanation of what is going on. It took two times of reporting, but then on the second try, they unstuck my room.

I would recommend trying to go thru the eStore. They are much quicker to respond. Since it was a pet purchased from their, it wouldn't hurt to try. You still have to send an email thru the eStore, but I have received a call back in 24 hours or less in response to two of my emails on the Pharoah costume.
