POTM Potential Pitfall....

Hi all! :)

OK...need some insight here. A while ago WI posted the upcoming Pets of the Month (and they are still on the main page on the right column off to the side...).

Here's my dilemma...I went to a Hallmark Store today and they had a display with the next 3 POTM...

October - Pug (with Ganz POTM mini-poster attached to shelf)
November - RHINO ? (NO Ganz POTM mini-poster)
December - Polar Bear (with Ganz POTM mini-poster attached to shelf)

WI has the HIPPO being POTM for November, and the RHINO is retired anyway! :idjut2:

I asked the person if they were sure it was the Rhino for November POTM, they checked with someone else (manager, I guess...) and she said they were "100% sure" that it is the RHINO for November POTM.... :crazy2:

Can anyone tell me for sure what is up with this? I thought I saw a post somewhere that WI confirms everything with Ganz before they post upcoming stuff...

Help, Help! :D
I bought a Rhino, but need to know if it really is POTM for November! ;D
Thanks! :)

If you go into WEbkinz world and while you're on the newpaper page look up. There is a button under the heading "Webkinz Pets and Stuff". Click on continue. That will take you to an area where you can see the current pet of the month and next months (it doesn't show December's POTM yet). It looks like November is the Hippo. There is no horns on the picture, so I'm pretty sure.

I hope you're not too upset.

Uh, NO...LOL! I already have a Rhino, I just got this one 'cause I thought it was POTM. I just called the Hallmark Store to set them straight. They said a manager will call me tomorrow.

THEIR mistake, I want to EXCHANGE! ;D

November POTM is the Hippo. This is a Fact. I have the signage in my store from Ganz

That is a little bit strange. I do not think they would print up the POTM paper just to sell the webkinz. But you never know. It would be a little easier to figure out with maybe a picture or some proof. How is it even possible for the Rhino to be the POTM if it is retired. It just makes no sense.

Just wanted to update everybody...I went back to the Hallmark store today and was able to exchange for a different pet.

Whe-e-e-e-e-e-e! I'm happy now! :)
