Default Unanswered: POTM help

I just adopted the bulldog, the pet of the month for january, and did not receive the loot bag. It is 2pm January 1st 2009 where I live, so I should have received the loot bag. I read the thread about this issue, and I tried everything, however nothing worked. I have already sent an email to customer service, but I am concerned that they will want to speak with me on the phone, or I will have to eventually contact them if the problem is not resolved via email. Since I live in another country, it is very expensive to call overseas. Does anyone know if Ganz has called customers in other countries if they needed tech help? Or do we have to pay and call them? I have a feeling that this is going to be very difficult for me to resolve

I'm sorry to hear that but Ganz has an 800 number you can help and the are pretty quick on the phone. I got helped out within minutes so it shouldnt take long. Also try not to adopt POTM on the 1st day of the month, Ganz recommends waiting until a couple days after the first. It is still 10pm KT time in the US btw..so that's why it probably didnt take effect. but yeah definitely you will get quicker response on the phone than email! Usually you leave a msg first and then they will call you back. I hope you get your Loot bag!

Last month when (not knowing) I tried to adopt the POTM a day early, a pop-up told me that I should wait a day since the new POTM was due. If that wasn't given to you, I'm sorry. Hope customer service can help.

I never received that pop up, probably because it is January over here. My daily activities include things for Bulldog owners and pet of the month activities and flying POTM ribbons, so I figured it was safe for me to adopt. I wish I had waited a bit :/ Thanks for your info!

I'm sorry that happened. Don't worry, just be patient, I'm sure they will come through for you and award you your POTM bag. Being a holiday, it will take them a bit longer I'm sure to get back to you, but please just be patient. In the meantime, if you've logged off and logged on again and still nothing, at least if your pet is registered you can still participate in all the activities. You just have to wait a bit to see what your reward prizes are. Congrats on your new Bull Dog. I hope you gave it a great name!!!! Happy New Year!

Ah, GANZ suggests you wait about a week into the month to adopt the POTM .... but I think you can still get your bag.

Thanks for your comments and help! I feel a bit better now. I just hope it all works out haha. So frustrating!

And yep, I am new to WI as a poster, but I've been lurking and reading WI for a while now. It's a great site, and thanks so much to everyone for helping me

Ganz has recommended that you adopt the POTM on the 5th of the month, to make sure all glitches are taken care of. I would recommend calling Ganz, and they'll give you your lootbag, most likely. But for future months, adopt on the 5th

Many are having this problem as mentioned in another thread. I will adopt mine on the fifth for this reason. Contact Ganz and they'll fix it for you.
