I have been playing Webkinz long distance with my great niece and nephews, who live in a different state. We visit each other's homes and play the games together while talking on the phone. (I've become pretty good at bowling and not bad at pool!)
With the consent and encouragement of their parents, I have also been going onto the children's accounts when a special activity is scheduled and they cannot be on the computer themselves at that time. We started doing this when the kids were unhappy about having to miss a Webkinz activity to go on a family outing. This has worked well in the few weeks I have been doing it, but on Monday night when I tried to log in to one of the accounts, I got a message to check my password. I reentered the password several times to make sure I typed it correctly, but I got the message each time. I checked
with my niece the next day to see if she was having a password problem herself, but she wasn't. I am still unable to get on the account. Now, besides getting the message asking about the password, I get a popup of the Webkinz privacy rules. Do they think I'm a hacker? How do I correct this?
It may be something simple, does your niece have numbers in her password and if so is your num lock key on... my grandson sometimes forgets to check this is the only reason that I ask.
Good luck hope your are able to correct this problem.
Are you sure your niece didn't change the password and forgot to tell you? If she doesn't have any problems, she could change the password and you could try to get into her account with the new password.
It might also be that you now can't get in because you tried too many times - many sites block you from access if you have typed the wrong password too many times, but I don't know if WW does.
If the new pass doesn't work, I think you should call them and explain
Keep us updated, I hope this will work out for you!
If the password has been changed, and none of you can figure out what it is, the solution is to contact Ganz and ask them to reset the password. An adult will need to call Ganz and give them the secret code to one of the pets on the account. This is how you verify that you are supposed to have access to the account.
I hope you are able to get back on the account soon.
