Well, it's 10:30 PM and the problem is still not fixed. I just tried to order the purple monster (no charms) and paid but did not get a code. I sent an email to customer service. I hope they send my code.
Well, I had a similar problem tonight -
I bought TWO monsters, no charms. I was charged the amount for two of them.
(I always use the print out the code links, then do screen shots, in case the mail takes a while!)
Well, I only got ONE code! Yikes! But, I emailed the eStore customer service, and they had it fixed within a couple of hours.
But, I bought them around noon today, so probably early enough to beat the long queue of problem codes! : /
Hang in there - they didn't refund me, but they DID send out an additional code via email, and it worked just fine.
Wouldn't it be great if they tested the things first to be sure it was working before rolling it all out?
Yeah, the ONE thing I don't like about the e store is they come out with the cutest animals only online! And technical difficulties happen and you don't get what you purchased sometimes. I really hope you get your purple monster! It's so cute!
Decided to check back in to see how many others have had this problem and how it's being resolved...
Seems like quite a few have had the no Monster code issue... and the eStore Customer Support is NOT handling it consistently.
Some got emails (like me!) saying MY credit card company will reverse the charge when THEY realize the discrepency - although the funds are taken out NOW.
Others received an apology along WITH the missing code.
I honestly think there have been enough WI members having this problem that maybe Justin could address it directly with Ganz? I do believe that's the only way we'll get a clear, consistent solution for all of us. At least perhaps it could be posted in the Breaking Newz article so that people are forewarned...
The front page does address that the Pharaoh Costume pictured in the eStore is NOT what you actually get - it looks entirely different.
I LOVE some of the eStore items and would really like to make more purchases... I'm just so leary at this point.
If you purchased the Purple Monster and did NOT get the code - could you please post & let us know how it was handled? It will just be interesting to know how many have had the problem and what Ganz is doing about it.
I purchased 4 charms along with the Purple Monster. Only received codes for the charms. They responded to my email quickly, but said they were refunding the money for the pet. I placed another order with only the pet and received the code after checking out. ???
I did not purchase the monster but this same thing happened to me when the charms came out. Only i didn't get any codes at that time. I emailed the E-Store CS (much better than WW CS) on a Sunday morning after the saturday sale. Sunday at lunch I got the same response as most here (card will not be charged) I replied back that it was not good enough a response and included my phone number. Within 30 mins they called me. She could not do anything about not getting the charms so I missed out on them. But she was very nice and sympathetic. I have not had any problems buying stuff from there since that time
I purchased the monster along with the piano last night. I received the code for the piano, no code for the monster. I emailed them through the link at the estore, and have yet to hear anything. I just got through emailing them again. Why have people who bought their items today, already been helped, and I still havent gotten a response? Frustrating.
