I have been having trouble logging on to. I saw others were having problems and had hoped it would be fixed soon, but it's been at least 4 days now. At first my log-in & new customer buttons were completely blanked out. The Customer Service button just took me to a page that said that page couldn't be found. Now I have the buttons back, and they do take me to the sign in page, but once I sign in, it never loads. I just see the big loading 'w' on the green background forever. I have dial up, so I am used to things taking forever, but it's never taken this long before, not even the first time I ever loaded webkinz. I do use internet explorer, however, so does the library and I can log on fine at the library. But now it's Sunday and the library is closed, so I am webkinless. I am scared that it may be because I have dial-up that I am having a problem. Which, btw, if you have dial up the wkw says it is actually a bad idea to clear your cache. I've tried the link that people keep posting & I've tried clicking the log-in link on the bottom of the screen. The same thing always happens. My customer service link now works so I think I will contact them.
Unfortunately, customer service may be of no help. The tag on the Webkinz plush says "High Speed Internet Required". They may just tell you that and not help you.
Have you ever been able to log into webkinz on your dial up connection? If so, then there might still be hope. Your problem is most likely due to a combination of your internet speed and how busy Webkinz World is. If you log in during non-peak hours that might help (although from my experience these hours are between midnight and 2am and after their 2am maintenance (usually around 3:30am, but sometimes later) and before 6:30am.
There is another problem that you may be unaware of if you have pop-up blocker on. If you do, you will need to add www.webkinz.com/us_en to the exception list (it used to be www.webkinz.com, but since they have changed their homepage, I am not sure if this will work anymore. To be safe, add both www.webkinz.com/us_en and www.webkinz.com to the pop-up blockers exceptions list). Webkinz sometimes has a script that is running slowly, and an Adobe Flash Player pop-up will tell you this. It will ask you if you want to abort the script, and you must click "no" so the script is allowed to run. Clicking "no" will allow the program to process for another 15 seconds (processing time, which may take longer than 15 seconds of real time). If the program does not finish processing in this 15 seconds, then the Adobe flash player script message will pop up again....and again...and again.... until the program is through processing the command/script. The unfortunate part is that whenever I get this message twice in a row when trying to log in, I am never successful at logging in (I have a high speed connection), and Webkinz will say I am being logged out even before they actually log me in (and my web browser will freeze, and I need to X out of it and bring up another web browser window). If I try logging in again after this, sometimes I will be successful. If you finally get logged in, and you get the Adobe flash player message loading your dock, or loading the hourly/daily activities, then you can usually click on the "no" for as many times as it takes for everything to load.
I hope you can get logged in from home. Keep us updated as to if you can get logged in and if Webkinz customer support actually helps you. Good luck!
For some reason Internet Explorer isn't redirecting to the Webkinz new http address properly (for everyone). If you are using Mozilla Firefox www.webkinz.com works, but it doesn't on Internet Explorer.
Hi again SNOWCRYSTAL...... I saw you were having this trouble the other day.......It must be whichever server you are on, because my IE is working fine. Firefox is fine too. However, I do know that 4 of my accounts are on one server and one account is on another.......I know that due to a problem in the past with one of my accounts which we couldn't use for over 6 weeks......yes, 6 weeks, they kept telling me they were "working" on it...........
I have been giving people the link you provided... thanks!
