Oh no! Someone help!

This is my first post. My poor 7 year old son, who has had webkinz now for a year, tried to log on to his account only to find his password had been changed. After we solved that issue by getting one of his tags and changing his password again, we find he has been cleared out. I mean everything is gone - no furniture, no exclusive items...nuttin! I am assuming he shared his password and some "friend" took his stuff. Any ideas or help appreciated! He is very distraught. :'( Thanks!

I'm so sorry to hear that that happened to your son.
unfortunately, i don't think there's anything that can be done except to start collecting items again.
if you stay a member here for 2 weeks and make 50 posts, you can join the gift exchange and trade for some items. you can also check Merthyn's thread for what will be in the curio shop and that will help you to buy back the rare items more easily by knowing when to find them.

You can try to contact Webkinz Support: support@webkinz.com or call 1-866-WEBKINZ (932-5469). I do not believe they answer on weekends.

I don't know what good it will do you though if he may have shared his password. Good luck to you and I am so sorry this happened.

Re: Oh no! Someone help!
Thanks - It is just shocking to think his 7 year old school mates would do such a thing!

His user name (he picked it) is Irving1 (Irving is his middle name - family name) ha ha

Re: Oh no! Someone help!
be sure to change his password now! and he's learned a big lesson about not sharing passwords. if you look at his phone you can probably see where the items were sent by who is on there. but, it wont help much except maybe your son should talk to his "friends" and try to convince them to send the items back.

Oh! I am so sorry to hear that. The same thing happened to my brother. Just make sure your son doesn't tell anyone is password again!

ohhh nooo shopkinz~ just wanted to offer my sympathy too..isnt it sad to think 7 yr olds could be cheating on their friends :( if you know who that child is, it might be an option to approach their parents..that is absolutely unacceptable behavior. good luck collecting again..and WELCOME TO WI :)
