I say leave it. I think you will only make it more sore if you pull it. Maybe your parents can give you tylenol or motrin to make it feel better.

Me, being the careful and sensitive one, would leave it, but if you say it is very loose, like on the last root, then pull it. Pull it especially if it hurts really bad, then the pain usually goes away.
