Default Answered: New Netbook screen too small for Webkinz!

I have a new Toshiba 10.1 inch netbook. It's great, except that I can't see the the "Things to Do" button. When I resize the screen it doesn't make the whole picture smaller, just focuses on one corner of the picture. And there is no "scroll" button on the side of the screen? How do I resize Webkinz to fit on a smaller screen, or at least find a way to scroll down to the Things to Do Button?

Thanks to whomever can hellp!

In The Wiki search for winterfest. On that page is a link to open multiple accounts. That link will take you to a ebkinz window that has the slide bar on the side so you can scroll on the screen from top to bottom.

Good Luck!

Check your resolution and see if changing it helps. Also check to see if the screen is set to maximize. I hope one of these works for you!!!

The problem is the way Webkinz is coded - it won't automatically adjust.
Most sites do.

What you need to do is to change the resolution of your screen, and you may need to play
with it to get the right combination.

The fastest way is to right click on your background. This will bring up a menu.
One of the options will be something like "Graphics Properties" (can vary by manufacturer).
You want "Display Settings". One should be "Screen Resolution".
On mine, 1024 x 768 is a good option. The sizes, and number of possiblities, varies by
manu. and by individual machine [the model in the store when we got ours had about 20,
ours has 13, we saw some with as few as 4].

If you cannot get to it that way, try your Start Menu, Control Panel, Appearance and Themes,
which should have a Screen Resolution option.

If you still can't find it, search on the web for your model, or call place of purchase.

On ours, this makes the screen a "window" which sees most of the background, but we need to
scroll across [via mouse] to see the parts not on screen - like using a magifying glass to read a
page - you have to move the glass sometimes.

Good luck!!!!

from what i know about most Net books they dont have a high enough screen res to fit all of WW on the screen you can get a little more viewable area by pressing "F11" to enter full screen mode this removes the top and bottom bars letting you fit more of the page on screen, and when your doe just press "F11" again to exit full screen mode.

Hope this is of some help to you.

This is how I see it, I had this problem on my cousin's computer. Check and see how zoomed in you are on the screen. Like, look at the lower right side of the screen on the computer, there should be some number with a percent symbol after it ( 100% for example ) Try to adjust that, I am on a mac airbook or something like that and I am zoomed in at 125% and it is just fine. So, if you understand what I am saying, check it out. hope this helps!
