there once was a thread about not having too many items in one room and I was wondering what that number of items was. I want to have a room with fridges but I don't want too many food items in the room. Please someone LMK.
Leave a space in front of each doorway and you *should* be alright.
I have food storage rooms with over 50 coolors, each filled with 6 items. No problems.

Realistically, for food storage, you want to be able to walk around to click the fridges to open them though. So leave enough room to be able to access each fridge from at least one side. Unless you don't intend to open them all..
My googoo berries, for example, are all in one room, not real walking space, since i don't need to see them.

I do remember what you are talking about. I remember reading somewhere that too many items in your room can cause it to load slowly. However, I do not remember what that % or number was. If memory serves correct, it is more the # of items in your dock versus items in your room.
