Default Unanswered: Need Help With Kinz Post!

I have defragged and cleaned up my laptop (it's an old Dell) and got the latest version of Flash Player, but everytime I try to Kinz Post items from this laptop, it never works I get the 'sending your gift' forever! I have tried waiting for it to go through, but it never does and the inactivity message warning comes up while it is still trying to send. I have tried this on numerous accounts from the same computer and the same thing happens. The items never go through. I am on the go and this is the only computer I have with me during the day. Any suggestions?

I am sorry that this is happening to you. This doesn't happen on other computers? I am not having problems with kinzpost, but if this happens on more than just that computer, you may want to contact Ganz and see if they can help you. I hope that this gets cleared up soon!

You said you cleaned up the laptop, but have you tried clearing your cache? Here are Ganz's instructions on how to do it:

AOL:
  • From the 'My AOL' menu, on the AOL toolbar, Click 'Preferences', then Click 'WWW'
  • Look for the 'Temporary Internet Files'
  • Click 'Delete Files', and then click 'OK'
Internet Explorer 6:
  • At the top in the pull-down menus (File, Edit, Tools etc.), click Tools, then 'Internet Options'
  • This brings up a dialog with 6 tabs across the top (General, Security, Content...)
  • Click 'General; then look for 'Temporary Internet Files'
  • Click Delete Cookies. Then click 'OK'.
  • Click 'Delete Files', then (if it appears, check off 'Delete all offline content', then click 'OK'
  • Click 'OK' again and this should clear all cached pages
Internet Explorer 7:
  • From the Tools menu, select Internet Options
  • Choose the General tab
  • Under Browsing history, click Delete
  • Next to "Temporary Internet Files", click Delete files
  • Click Close, and then click OK to exit.
Netscape:
  • Up top in the pull-down menus (File, Edit, etc.), click Edit, then 'Preferences'
  • Find 'Advanced'. Click the sign in front of the word, 'advanced'
  • You'll see 'Cache, Proxies, etc...'
  • Click 'Cache'
  • On the right you'll see buttons labeled 'Clear Memory Cache,' and 'Clear Disk Cache'
  • First, click 'Clear Memory Cache'. When the “?” dialog appears click 'OK'
  • Click 'Clear Disk Cache', when the “?” dialog appears, click 'OK'.
  • Click 'OK' again to close the Cache Dialog box.
  • This will clear all old info from your browser and the error should be finished.
Firefox:
  • Click Tools and select Options
  • Click the Privacy icon
  • Click Clear Now in the Private Data area
  • Click OK
  • Exit and re-launch the browser.
Clearing Cache on Safari 1.0 / Safari 2.0 for Macintosh OS X:
  • From the Safari menu click on ‘empty cache’
  • When asked if you want to empty the cache? Click on empty
  • Once that's done, from the safari menu click on "preferences"
  • From the Security dialog box, select "bookmarks"
  • Click on "Show Cookies"
  • A list will show up with all the cookies left on the computer.
  • Select "Remove all"
  • Once they are removed, Click "Done"
  • Close down Safari to get back to your desktop
  • Re-launch Safari and log back into Webkinz.

2. log out and relog
3. try a different computer
4. restart the computer
5. pray

This has happened to me as well. It's usually just a busy server or a glitch. I'd re-log in and try a few times. If you need to, try another computer and see if it is a problem with the computer you are using or if it is a problem with your account. If it is a problem with your account, I'd wait a day, try again, and then contact ganz. The phone number is1-866-932-5469. I hope I helped and I hope it's fixed soon!

Try re-starting your computer. If it still doesn't work, try another computer.

I would try cleaning your cache if cleaning your laptop didn't work. This has happened to me before, but it was just a problem with the site itself.

same thing happended to me a few weeks ago. I think that this is a site glitch because the day after my problem, it suddenly got fixed. However, maybe you should consider clearing your chace. Also, maybe your computer has too many things running at the same time. When you go on webkinz, do you have another window open (like itunes, email, ect.) ? Mayeb that is slowing you down.
