I'm not sure if you have tried this, but you can purchase "bitter orange" from the pet stores. Its got a horrible taste if animals try to bite/lick/eat something. Worked great for us when we were trying to train our puppy. I would test it on a "non-webbie" first, though, just to be certain it does not stain the fabric. We've even used it for a cat that liked to eat shoe laces!
Its inexpensive, and really does work. I think trying that, along with some of the other members suggestions, and you'll have your dog trained in no time that the Webbies are yours.
And a tip for the "kong" suggestion: Fill the bottom hole with peanut butter so it acts like a stopper. Then pour some left over soup juice inside the kong. Fill the top hole with peanut butter to block the other end. Put in the freezer over night. The next day when you have to leave for work/school, put the kong someplace your dog usually goes. When your dog finds it, they'll have a awesome treat that they have to work on for hours to get the reward. It's amazing how intent your dog will be on that frozen kong treat!
Hope the suggestions help. Good luck!
