Default Answered: Missing Code

My daughter got a Zumbuddy as an early Christmas present from her grandmother. She opened up the tag to put the code in, and the space where the code belongs is blank. If I contact Ganz, are they likely to be helpful or sympathetic? I'm willing to mail the blank tag to them as proof, or scan in into my computer or anything, but my poor 6-year-old wants her Zumbuddy.

Hmm, you need to contact Ganz so they can email or ship you a correct tag. Or you should take it to the store where her grandmother got it and show them the tag so they could give you a new one.

Thats what i would do too - Take it back to the store where the grandma bought it from to see if the store owners would just replace it. It would save time, and hassle...let the store deal with Ganz if need be

Well, grandma still has the receipt. Unfortunately, I shop at the same store (it's in a nearby mall) and last time I was in there, they were all out of Zumbuddies. It's looking more like the "contact Ganz" route. (This would be so much easier at any other time of year.)

Aw. I am sorry. I guess you will have to call them. You could tell the store to give you a new one once they get it.

Hi there! Sorry to hear about your problem, but it happens often enough to merit its own spot in the Customer Service Area.

When you first log onto WW go to the Customer Service section on the front page. There are two sections for problems with codes: "Adoption Issues or Questions about Secret Codes" and "Questions about Feature Codes"

If neither of these address your problem, you can use the last topic on that page titled;

"Comments or Suggestions"
...."Our Question Does Not Appear Above"
............"Other"

This is a basic free flow comment area to further explain your difficulty.

Hope this helps and good luck getting it resolved.

If you contact Ganz they should help. If you say that you lost it at home like I did then they wont help you.

I called Ganz this morning. (Thank you, WI, for the phone number.) They gave me an address I am to mail the tag to. The person I talked to said be sure to include a phone number, return address, and email address so they know where to send a new code.

I think I'll pay the extra at the post office to get a recept confirmation, what with postal traffic so busy this time of year.

Thanks to all who offered advise and sympathy. Fortuately, my daughter is old enough to understand waiting a little bit.
