Wash first, and when it's still wet put it in the dryer on the highest (and warmest) it can possibly go. It always works for me! I used that way to untangle my toy fox's hair after it got all messed up.

I would try combing her hair really slowly until it's a little better, but be sure not to pull too hard. Then I would try rubbing a dryer sheet on her to make it kind of silky and more brush-able. Then I would try getting one o those soft brushes, and smooth it down Then for the finishing tough try combing out the snarls. Hope that helps!
The same thing happens to my pets too,all the time. Ok what I do is either wet the hair a little and start combing it or instead (I know this can sound maybe a little strange) spray on some Webkinz body spritz(if you have any) onto your and just start brushing. I hope it helps, it always does with mine! Good Luck!
Ooh... messy hair, huh? That usually happens to my Yorkie. (Her hair goes ALL over the place and it gets tangled sometimes) But my persian cat doesn't have that problem, her hair is just kind of stiff What I do for my Yorkie, though, is take a DRYER SHEET and rub it over her and her hair sticks down. The dryer sheet tecnique ALWAYS works for me when it comes to messy hair! What the dryer sheet does is makes it less static all over. Hope I helped, good luck!
used or new?- this helps but i forgot. i don't use dryer sheets but i have them.
