Question Unanswered: "In memory of" bars?

I've seen them on some people's (hmmm hard to explain) I guess information bar (for example where there username is, how many posts they have and so on) you can also see it on their profile pages. But for some people I see a little bar that says "In memory of" and a picture I believe it was a lion[excuse me for my bad memory] what exactly is that? I mean what does it signify, did this person do something special? I'm just curious, I've seen it around and was always wondering about it.

Hi WebkinzLover! There was a special boy who loved Webkinz, and I believe his Aunt was/is a member of this site. The boy's name was Phillip. He passed away sometime within the last year. Many people followed his story. I will try to find a link for you. Hugz!

Here's another link I found while looking as well. There may be more here, I just went to a Vbulletin search and put in King Phillip, because I remembered someone calling him that once. And SnoopysGirl was correct, his aunt used to be a member here.

And thanks, SnoopysGirl, one of those links I never saw.

I remember when we all put Pancakes in our AVs or Signatures in honor of Phillip. It just shows what a wonderful community WI is!

This person was Phillip. supported this very special pancake-loving, Wacky Bingoz/Webkinz little boy. If you donated, you'd receive a 'In Memory Of' badge. He passed away last year. We will all remember him.

Hope I helped.
