Default Unanswered: Locked out of my account- BUT NOT BECAUSE OF SERVERS!!!!!!

Hey everyone, after the mateinence a bunch of people were locked out of their accounts because of server errors. This is only half true for my sister. She is completly locked out of her account (this happened after mateinence) because she keeps getting the message "your password is wrong" even though it was right. So we changed it and the new one that we just got 30 seconds ago is "wrong" I was just wondering if anyone else is having this same problem and if there is and solution. Also is it really our or GANZ/Webkinz fault that this is not working? Thanks in advance!

I have had a problem with this before, and it was actually that my Caps Lock was on, or I was using the keypad to type a number and the Num Lock was off. Those would be the first things I would check.

Ganz sent me an e-mail about passwords after I sent them a complaint for something else.

I don't recall it completely, but she should check her e-mail account that she signed up with for any details.

Ah! Hold on, I found the e-mail

Quote:
Additionally if you have forgotten your password you can reset your password by following the steps below. Please remember that passwords are case sensitive.

1) Go to the main login page by clicking on “Login”

2) Click on the blue link called “I forgot my password”

3) Type in your username and the secret pet code.

4) Click “Next”

5) The system will give you a new password . Please make sure you write it down so you will be able to change it to something that is easier for you to remember.

6) Go to the main login page again and type in the same username and the new password (again, please remember that passwords are case sensitive).

7) Click on the blue button called “Change password”. Go through the steps to change your password to something easier for you to remember. We suggest using letters and numbers to make your password more secure.
Quoted from the Ganz E-mail :3 Hope I helped!

If you got the new password today, I would take Jayne's advice and wait until tomorrow. Hopefully the nightly 2am maintenance will get it working.

We are having the same problem on one account. Sometimes it says server error and some times it says password not correct. It is a problem that Ganz is working on according to another post.
