Post Answered: Link in signature not working...

Okay, so as you can see, I have a link in my siggnature for my house thread, and when you click on it, it's supposed to take you to my house, obviously lol.

So anyway, that's what it's SUPPOSED to do. Instead it takes you to the forum. I did it how I think it's supposed to be done, but it's not working. How can I get it to work?

Click the spoiler if you want to know how I did it.

Spoiler: show
Okay, so first, I went to my house thread and highligted the link. Then I copy and pasted it onto my signature thing. Where it says "Mizabifs-mansion-*new-rooms*-now-you-" I put "My house" in it's place.

The original link:
http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...ow-you-654131/

So then would look like this:

http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/f127/My house654131/

Then I took out all the other stuff around it and after that it would look like this.

My house But it just took me to the forum.

It doesn't have to have 'URL' in the link,you just put the link after "URL="
Here is an example. You can just copy and paste this,and replace the { } with [ ] to make it work in your siggy:

{URL="http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...ow-you-654131/"} My House {/URL}

You can't edit a link like that,so that's why it takes you back to the homepage.
Instead,do this with your link. Replace the { brackets with normal ones,like these: [ ]
{URL=put the entire link here.} My House! {/URL}

Or,you can click the little A/A button at the top right corner of the Quick Reply box,and then click the little Globe icon. That's a little easier than typing the code out.

Yep, you can't edit a link like that. Pandah's guide thing is very good.

This is the link to your house:

http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...ow-you-654131/

PHP Code:
http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/f127/mizabifs-mansion-*new-rooms*-now-you-654131/
To put it in your sig:

1. Go to your house thread (use the link if you like)
2. Highlight the address (everything from http: to the /), right click and choose "copy"
3. Edit your signature - and in place of the http... you have PASTE the address you just copied.

If that doesn't make sense you can always edit it manually - use the text above

Oh, now I think I get it. I keep this open until I test it, which will be now.
