Arrow Unanswered: Laptop Question?

I have a question for all laptop owners... does your laptop have a "prt scrn" (print screen) button?

On my Laptop, it doesn't seem to work.
However, on my mom's Apple Laptop, you highlight (run your mouse over) the picture and right click. Then you hit 'copy' and then you go to your picture editing program etc.
I have a Dell HP Pavillion, that has the Prt. Screen button, but I can't get it to work.
I hope we find ways soon, I'd really like it to work.

if the print screen button on your laptop does not work you may either have to hit the Fn key and press it or hit control control then print screen. My last 2 laptops had those 2 tricks.

I have a lap top and it works. It doesn't seem like it does anything, but when you hit print screen and then go to paint and click edit and paste, your picture will show up. Hope you get it working!

so your saying that most laptops do have a print screen button, but you might have to press some other buttons to get it to work?

Default Re: Laptop Question?

yes on of my friends taught me that. But as anthonysmommy pointed out it wont notify you you have to go somewhere and hit paste to know. Its worth a try So its Fn+printscreen or control control then print screen. The second was my old dell's method.

On my laptop, on the bottom left hand side there is a button that has a little square with fn in it, you need to hit that button and then the print screen button which is at the top right of the keyboard.
