if this is in the wrong section, mods you can move it, but since charms are no longer sold in store, only online, does that make the actual charm itself ( if you have it ) worth more than i was before they stopped selling them? ( like the actual charm u hook onto the bracelet? )
Hmmm...good question! I am not sure why the charms were removed from stores in the first place (lead scare, possibly?), but I would imagine that if they never sell them in stores again, that WOULD make them more valuable.
I know that the actual charms were going for much more than the original price on Ebay. I don't know how the virtual charms has affected the price, but I'm sure it is still right up there, especially for some of the rarer ones.
I just recently bought charms (2 of the wishing well) in a store and have two that I bought though online shopping at normal prices (not e-bay). I think they were just unavailable for a while and may be coming back. Either that or some old stock has just appeared...
I wish I could find a few of the charms.. I would like the Wacky Zingoz and Wishing Well..
People on ebay seem to think they are worth a lot, LOL I would rather not have any then pay what some of them want for them.. I don't want them that badly..
I have a little shop near me that sell collecting things, like cars and cards, etc.... Whenever we first found that he sold webkinz, i hoped he had the charms because he had a lot of older things.. No charms though..
i think they would sell really well if they started selling these again..
I never had luck finding charms in stores so the ones I bought for the kids I had to buy off of ebay over a year ago. I haven't checked recently but I'm sure that they are more pricey than before, I paid a lot for mine over a year ago!
