Default Answered: Judy Moody's Lime Green Dresser: Glitch (or Bummer)

The Judy Moody Promotion has a Lime Green Dresser as a promotional prize. The dresser does not open to store any clothes.

If this is by design by Ganz, this is a bummer prize. Did Megan McDonald want to promote her movie this way? Maybe it is a big joke.

If this is an glitch by Ganz, please fix the dresser. Everything called a dresser in WW and in life is used to store clothes.

Thanks for reading.

This is purposefully designed that way. It's such a letdown.

Hi Isabelle,
Thanks for your post. Did you talk to the Webkinz Creative Director? That is the person who would know what the design's intention was.

AuntietoEW,
You will find the answer to your question on the WI Home page. It was posted early today so you might have to scroll down to see it.

Also, I could be wrong, but your response to Isabelle123 sounded a bit curt. My apologies if I'm wrong.

Hi LadyGarnet,
I am sorry that you read a negative tone into my post. That was not my intention at all. That is the problem with written posts that there is no "tone of voice" or "facial expressions" to tell the intention.

In my experience, there can be a range of responses from the customer service team members on the Webkinz hotline. The information is not always shared with all the people who answer the phone. This means it is like going to a "potluck" to see what you get. The Creative Director is the person who knows all the decisions that are made in the creation of designs.

I just called Ganz customer service. They had already looked into the design of this item. The Lime Green Dresser was not designed to hold any clothes. It should have been called Lime Green Decorative Box. They will not be changing this prize. The best thing is to think of it as a "bummer" prize and have a good laugh about it.

Thanks for the info Auntie. You are right about written posts and I apologize for my negativity.

I would like to congratulate you on your Goober's trophy. I was so excited when I finally won mine that I called all my grandkids to share the news. They are the only ones who would know what I was talking about!

welcome to WI. you cant read too much into posts. maybe Isabelle and Auntie have become good friends here in the forum after being around awhile and therefore have an understanding. i see Isabelle in the JBC challenge and consider her a friend. so, we are all on friendly terms (or WI would let us know there is a problem) and are here to help each other. so, be nice to everyone and remember to give rep. LOL LOL
