A shark should be considered a fish. I would call ganz. I'm still sore at them for not counting my turkey as a bird. Thats fine if they didn't want to give me a tree top room becuase turkeys don't fly or whatever. But making his psi a bed that can only be put in a tree top room or outside isn't fair. Now the poor thing has to sleep in his bed in the back yard since I can't buy a tree top room for him. Sometimes I don't know what ganz is thinking.
Oh, that poor turkey! I'll be calling on Monday to find out what the problem is with the shark, the chicken AND the turkey, and why some badges aren't being awarded with the adoptions of certain pets. I'll post anything they tell me here when I find out.
And I'm sure your turkey will be more comfortable in the back yard. I've seen turkeys fly and they seem to have to work very hard at it.
For some reason the hummingbird on our account never gave us the bird badge either; some things just didn't get programmed properly. Call Ganz if it really bothers you that you don't have the badge.
I'm making up a list to ask Ganz about. It's good to know the problem is spread out throughout the fish and fowl section, so they can't say it's just me. It doesn't really bother me much, but seeing that its happening to a lot of other folk's here, I think we deserve an explanation.
if you get ten or more webbies you need to buy rooms for yourself, and you will have the selection to but underwater rooms, also you only et friend of a fowl when you adopt a cardinal. and yes ... a shark is a fish but you know how all the fish are lil kinz, well that's probably the case, it needs to be a lil kinz fish i guess
This makes sense. I'll have to check to see how long the whale has been out. Thanks for that tip.
I just checked and there doesn't seem to be pattern with the dates of release. While some are from 2008, there are also new ones, like my shark, which was released in November.
Here's the dates I have on the pets with problems (listed on this thread) It looks like random dates, and random pets affecting random accounts. Hopefully we'll find out what's going on Monday.
Chicken no rooftop tree room (April 200
Hummingbird no badge (October 200
Trigger fish, got underwater room but no fish badge (October 200
Turkey no treetop room, but bed psi is treetop only (August 2009)
Shark, no fish badge (November 2009)
Great info, good to know for when I adopt these pets. Thanks!
Btw, they (Ganz) really should have paid more attention on the turkey.

Let us all know what you find out. Thanks!

If you already had 10 or more webbies on that account, you won't get a room. But you should now have the ability to buy an underwater room from the room map.
A shark is a fish... but not a bony fish (most fish are bony fish). It belongs to an older group of cartilaginous fish. I don't think that Ganz would make such a distinction, so you should be able to purchase an underwater room.
Webberlily is probably right. You should probably call Ganz...
