Exclamation Answered: Inappropriate Ads

Lately, I've been seeing a lot of ads that have disturbing pictures that I think are really inappropriate for younger kids. I'm a teen, and I'm uncomfortable with them. These mostly consist of ads for RPGs and a certain Victoria's Secret ad. I think that WI needs to filter their ads to make sure they're appropriate. A lot of these ads show people wearing things that are way too revealing. Like I said, they're making me really uncomfortable. The rules on almost every part of the site say that we're supposed to keep this appropriate for seven and eight year olds, but I do not consider these ads appropriate for anyone who isn't an adult. Will someone please do something about this? Thanks!

WI is signed up for family-friendly ads, but sometimes inappropriate ones slip through. Please PM a staff member with a screenshot of the ad, or at least the name of the company being advertised. If you can right-click on the ad and get the Address (URL), that is ideal. (Copy and paste the URL into your PM). We will do our best to get rid of them. Also the ads you see may not be ads another person sees.

Wi has "Family friendly Ads".
So therefore you need to pm Justin or a mod(pretty sure Justin) the link of the page with the ad, so it may be taken down.

It's not just one page. I'm seeing these all the time.

I agree, these make me uncomfortable too. All you have to do is tell Justin, and he'll work on it.

I sorta agree with you, but if they make people uncomfortable, why don't those people just ignore them? I don't even pay attention to the ads on here. I have no idea what they're saying or showing. Plus, I don't think a seven or eight year old would even know what is revealing in those ads.

On the contrary, they can show their parent, and it can be very hard to explain to a child that early.

Thank you, Price.

Hugged, I try to ignore them. But when something's the most colorful thing on the page, it's rather difficult to ignore them.

True, but my brother's older than seven or eight and he hardly knows what's revealing. But I guess it does depend on the kid. Anyway, I guess I'll agree with you, ElfLover.

No ages please.
