Lately I have had a problem with IE. When I am iin WW often it tells me IE has a problem and needs to close. I have cleared cache and everything else I know to do. Any suggestions?
chicken little- I too, am experiencing the exact same thing!!! I cleared cache, re-booted, re-started and did my cartwheel….. I am thinking it may be the new big secretive ‘clothing’ maintenance that WW has started that has ‘glitched’ you & I. In addition, I can log onto WI, but cannot access my favorite club- PAWS. I miss my PAWS club family; hello PAWS family With my info, I am thinking it may be IE? Oh how I hope you & I only have short temporary misfortunes!!! Stay calm
I have had the same IE problem before, but it wasn't just with WW. To fix it, I had to free up some memory and defragment the disc on my computer. Not too long after, I switched to Firefox and didn't seem to have quite as many problems. However, there is one particular website I go to that shuts down Firefox whenever I click on any of the links and, from what I researched about the problem, it pointed back to an "active x" issue, which had to do with the programming of that particular site and the programming not being compatible with Firefox's programming. If I go onto that site with IE, all of the links work fine. So, you might try switching from IE to Firefox (or any other browser), or vice versa. If the problem isn't isolated to only WW, then it might do some good to have someone check your computer for memory (RAM) space, or defrag your disc. Hope this helps.
I've also been having the same problem lately, just with IE. No matter what site I'm on, I keep getting the message "Internet Explorer cannot display Webpage" and "must shut down now" and then it restarts itself automatically. I run a scan every night. Weird.
WoW! .. and here I thought that it might be my computer! I am having the same problem as Desty .. 'cannot display the webpage.. also it will tell me that there is a problem and must close but then recovers itself... well, chicken little.. at least we know that we are not alone ...thanks for posting this!!
I use Mozilla Firefox and that seems to help. Sometimes though, Firefox experiences some problems with viewing images. I try and clean my cache every few days which helps. I hope you have better luck in the future.
