IE not loadig - my fix

lately WW wont load with IE and i see many, many people have the same problem.

someone called Ganz and was told IE9 is no longer compatible with WW. so, how come, i have IE9 loading problems every morning but it works later in the day. like i said, only in the morning problem????

okay, just logged into WW on IE9. attempted regular log in and IE9 chrashed.
so my fix-
use your browsers HISTORY function. on IE hit buttons ctrl+H and it will bring dropped down menu. find WW from some time back date like last week and click on the WW, Come In and Play line.

on FF HISTORY is listed on top of browser window.

good luck.

I am having the same problem! I've been playing WW with my grandkids (total 13 accounts and well over 600+ pets) since August 2007. I spend a couple of thousand of dollars (US) annually also. I can't understand why WW cannot fix their problem and make it IE9 or whatever version compatable with their program. I'm sure there are many, many users worldwide who use IE.
PLEASE HELP US!!!!!!!

Re: IE not loadig - my fix

I find this very troubling. Part of the responsibility of running a web site like Webkinz is TO be compatable with the major browsers out there. There are only a hand full of them - the main ones in use statistically are Firefox, Chrome and IE8 or 9. I can't get over that a site would not only not run well, period but would dismiss one of the major browsers and act like they don't 'have to' give service to everyone that they don't feel like doing proper programming for. Every web site I know of tests that it works in the major browsers. It's just how business is done. And I agree with you, people have spent thousand$ of dollars on their accounts. There is no excuse for bugs, glitches, no tech support on weekends or being told there is too much stuff in our docks. For $200 you can buy your own server which would have enough room for 600 accounts...so why is spending all this money not good enough to get professional service from Ganz?

Thanks this helped!

I thought I was the only one having this problem, when I open it regularly on IE it take about 10-15 try's to open it.

as i said before, how can they say IE9 just is not compatible when it crashes in the morning but not in the afternoon?? well maybe it isnt their fault. everyday for the past 4 or 5 days Microsoft has been doing one update when you go to shut down computer. maybe it relates to IE. IE is a product of Microsoft.
there are many glitches like what Windows version, WW server number you are on, etc, etc.
I am on a notebook running Win7 and i cant change that. LOL

also the other day Adobe did an update for the flash player. maybe another part of the problem. oh well...
