Default Answered: I Got GIMP

OK so I got GIMP. Can anyone tell me how to make the backround of a GIF (moving picture) transparent on GIMP?

I'm not sure about an animated image.

But if you'd like to make a transparency, then scroll over Layer, Click transparency, click Add Alpha Fliter.

Then go back to transparency and click Color to Alpha. A box will appear, hit OK on that box.

This guide might help ---> http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...wesome-574145/

If you are interested in learning more about GIMP, there may be some openings in some of the member-owned schools in the Avatar & Signature section.

What you do is when you open up a page, its got a white background.

go to Layer>>Delete Layer

Now its all black & grey checkers. then go to Layer>>New from visible.

Then Voila! transparent background!

AND YOU HAVE TO SAVE IT AS .PNG for it to save transparent!
