Default Answered: I can't change my signature! I have too many lines?

Even if I have only one line in my signature, it says I have too many lines. What do I do? It only happens when things are centered.

It is because of the coding in your signature. When you press the Switch Editor Mode button
Click the image to open in full size., then you will see all the codes you use for the colors, size, font, etc. I checked and your signature has over 4 lines in coding.

I would suggest deleting your signature completely, then redoing it over again making sure the coding doesn't go crazy.

This should work:

I'm proud to be an American! 7 Days until the 4th of July!

Just take it and copy and paste.

Great answer! I have had this problem for a couple of years and finally asked my DD the other day if she knew why it was telling me my siggie was too long and to shorten it to 3 lines even though it was only two lines. Wouldn't you know, she showed me that little Click the image to open in full size. in the upper right corner... been sitting there the whhoooole time... and there was a ton of left-over code in there from past times when I had made edits. Apparently when I had made changes before, the code had stayed behind and then accumulated each time after, so the siggie got longer and longer without me knowing. So I deleted all the unnecessary code and then was able to add a line to my siggie! Something I had not been able to do in ages. Wish I had asked my daughter a long time ago now! LOL!
