In the "account" section in customer service it says -

"
Adopted a Pet on the Wrong Account - I want to transfer this newly adopted pet to another account
Separating pets is not something we do in Webkinz World. Once a pet has been adopted onto an account, it cannot be moved, transferred or removed.

I misplaced my jumbleberry grand prize and thought a table in my Christmas room (the infamous coffee table perhaps) had eaten my Jumbleberry Pie (object) prize. I called Ganz and that wonderful representative looked for 30 minutes for that pie. She actually said things get "stuck" behind the walls. She did a very, very thorough search. I didn't get upset with her and thanked her for all her trouble and we both agreed there's just no telling what a computer will do. There are some wonderful customer reps!!

Given your situation, I would probably call and point out there is no warning for zumbuddies like there is for adopting webkinz pets. Make sure they understand you want the 2 buddies removed from your account and added to your daughter's account. That way it doesn't appear you want extra buddies, you just want to correct your error. If that did not work, I would probably go buy the 2 new buddies... to protect my account. I also regulate my money carefully. I have 5 zumbuddies and they quickly add up to a cash flow problem.

Zums may be diffrent because they are a code and not an adoption #.

Yep to many Zumbuddies will break the bank VERY fast, if you play with them all

Wow that is hard. At least your daughter is taking it well. If you call them and they say they can't do anything atleast you know you did everything you could to fix it. And you sre doing the right thing and letting your daughter play with them even though they aren't on her account.

Oh, I'm sorry that happened to you. I think it's great that you are letting your daughter have visiting
privileges. She will probably tire of it in a few days, but she knows you are genuinely concerned about
her feelings and that's what matters most.

I accidentally entered an e-store item on the wrong account one time. It was the large waterfall and I wanted it for my yard on my main account, but was in another account that I use only for daily activities and deluxe rare items at the time.

I called Ganz and asked if they could transfer it because I had no future intentions of building on rooms in that account. They told me once a code is entered, it is beyond their control. It's a computer transaction and all codes are invalidated once entered.

She further explained that this is the policy for all codes because if it were possible for them to transfer items from one account to another, they would be fielding requests for that all day long. Unfortunately, I don't think they'll be able to help, but like others said, it can't hurt to ask.

Oh wow, no that has never happened to me, but I can see where this could happen. So sorry. You know I would just go get some more...that way she can have some on her account. I know that will be an expense, but Ganz will not remove them for you. In the scheme of things its makes more sense to just replace them. Its what I would do...just laugh at yourself and good for her for handing it like a trooper.

I think calling Ganz is a long shot. But why not? The worse they can do is say no.
So sorry that happened. It's exciting to get something new for your webbie, so sometimes were just not paying that much attention. Hope Ganz will help you.

Well, I know how that happens! I logged something onto my daughter's account that she didn't want but I did. Unfortunately, it was one of the eStore one-day-only (one-to-a-customer) items, so I couldn't get another one, she couldn't send it to me, and now we're both stuck!

So I've since learned my lesson...

I'm glad your daughter is taking it well and willing to take care of the Zums, because I think they're as demanding as toddlers and not nearly as cute!

Hmm.. I am very sorry for what happened. I hope Ganz will soon make a feature to do something about that. Always remember to check what pet you are and what account it is on. It makes it easier to remember.
