A cache, roughly speaking, is a place in your computer where certain data is stored for a short amount of time. Your internet browser may store "images" of internet pages (what they look like at a certain time) in its cache to make the pages load faster for you later, for example. Sometimes you need to empty the cache to try to get things to refresh. To empty your cache, you need to go into your browser tools and options and delete the data that is stored in it. However, deleting items from the cache might make stored passwords clear out.
