Default Answered: How to you quote someone

sometimes on threads before you see their post at the top is a gray box that someone else posted in and they replied to it. I know that you have to click the pencil in the bottom, but when I do that it takes me to the reply box. How do you do quote someone?

To quote someone (like I just did) when you are viewing the threads, under their signature will be a little quote button. Then it will bring you to the box that lets you type and you should see [ QUOTE = (Username) ] then the quote then [ / QUOTE ] (but without the spaces)

Or you can copy and post the other person's message, hilight it, and click the little speach bubble thing right next to where you can color the font.

Hi Pollen,
Well, if you are I just wanted to tell you that I quote people three different ways. The first way is just click on the "Quote" button on the bottom right hand corner. It should look like this.
Click the image to open in full size.

The second way I do it is click that pencil (aka "Quick Reply") like you do and type whatever I want in the box. Then before you post, there is an option box and one of the option is "Quote message in reply." Click on that then you can post and you're quoting someone.

Or you can do it the way lilhorselover said.

Either way, it'll work.

On the bottom of the post, you will see "Quote". YOu click on that and you will see the WI Member's post and next to it, you can quote and say whatever you would like! I also am going to add you can delete anyone's words by just pressing Backward on the words.
