Default Unanswered: How to use a template in Word? Please help ASAP!!!

I need to make a poster and brochure in Word for Health, but I don't know to find a template.
I know there are some online, but they don't work when I try to download them.
I know there's a way to find them from inside Word itself (atleast you could do this on my laptop), but I can't find out how to do that on my computer.
Please help.

BTW, I have Microsoft Works Word Processor 2007 (on a Visa).

Is this what you're looking for? Load or unload a template or add-in program - Word - Office.com

When you open up Word, there should be several templates to choose from. If not, try going to File and look for "Choose a template" or something similar to that.
