Step one: use the Rectangle select(I will post pics an a couple minutes)
Step two: set it to cover the picture
Step three: Right click and go to edit
Step four: Click "Copy Visible"
Step five: Open Microsoft paint
Step six: Paiste it in paing
And there you have it! I use GIMP too. IF you look at the stuff I made in my album, you'll see what I made! That was confusing for me too
On GIMP you have to click on the folder button in the top, left corner, and then click "Save as" and type in what you want to save it as. But what i found out, was that if your Canvas is Over like, 900 pixels, it will save as an .xcf and that doesn't work. So crop the photo as much as you can, or resize it, so that it doesn't take up as much space!
