How do you turn webkinz sound off and keep your computer sound on?

Is their any particular way that I can turn the sound of WW off and keep my computer sound on? I like to listen to NPR while playing games on Webkinz but I can't seem to turn the sound effects off without muting my entire computer. Is it possible to do so, and if so, how?

what is NPR?
if its a website then you can open 2 different internet browsers (firefox, chrome, etc)
and then manage the sounds accordingly-- like turn off firefox's sound (if you are playing ww on that)
and then keep chrome's sound on. i am pretty sure it is under sound advanced options

NPR is a radio station that can also play on the computer. Thanks for the suggestion! How do you turn of an internet browsers sound?

Turning sounds off for FireFox -- go to Tools, then Options. Click the Advanced Tab and then click General and then hit the box that says Disable Sounds.

I don't know about Safari or Internet Explorer, but if you work on Firefox this may help.
