Default Answered: How do you post twice in a row without the posts auto-merging?

Hello

I have seen several threads where on the second post the person says something like 'reserved for future use' or something like that. Can anyone tell me how to do that? Every time I try, my post just ends up in post #1 rather than forming a new post, like I want it too.

Any help on this matter would be great!

Thanks

In addition to what other people said, here is a detailed guide:

Also, after 24 hours, you can post without auto-merge. But I'm sure you're thinking of reserving posts, in that case, that would take way too long.

I'd also like to point out that 'bumping' (posting just so your thread gets pushed up in the forum) is against WI rules and is considered spam. I'm sure you wouldn't do that, but just so you know for future reference.
