Default Unanswered: How do I stop my replies from multi-quoting?

Here's the scene: I am in my gift exchange, trying to answer everyone's requests.
To keep things in order, I quote each person when I answer them. But then it turns into one big long thread answer and everybody says they can't find my post!
How do I keep everyone's answer windows seperate? AM I making sense? LOL

You are making sense, but sadly, I don't know the answer either. It's just so annoying when I double-post!

When you quote their post, if it's long, you can hit quote, and delete some of their post, just leave the quote brackets at the beginning and end of their quote.

Put just one person's quote in each thread, rather than replying to three or four in one post.

Also, you can try putting their name in bold (See that B among all the icons at the top of the message box? Click it to start the bold and then again to stop it.)

Uppies I will say yes to your offer.

Hope that helps!

Yes, thanks it helps...the idea about the bold might work...but I don't try to answer all in one thread. When i try to quote each person and submit a new post, the system automatically automerges them together.

Hmmm try answering them in different minutes! I don't know what you are talking about very much because I'm not gifted...

Yes what you want to do is put their name at the top of their reply. There is no way to stop the posts from merging together.
