But I want to know how to do the thing on the first page, with the flower.
I can explain!
First, when you want to post, click "Go advanced." Then, scroll down a bit, and click "manage attachments." Then, a box will open up. Browse your computer for the image. Then, once you have all of them selected, click "upload." When the box disappears, click "save" and you should have a thumbnail.
Remember there are a few ways to put an image onto a post and the option you use determines how it will display
OPTION 1: Use the "Insert Image" Icon.. the lil square with a mountain and sun. This option requires a link address to your image (http://www...) I like using tinypic.com When you use this option to image will appear like the below. When you display images this way, the great thing about it is that you do not use up your ATTACHMENTS space.
OPTION 2: use Lilypad's *great* instructions above from the "MANAGE ATTACHMENTS" area, when you upload an image from this option it will appear as a thumbnail image like below. You can upload a file that is simply on your computer OR upload it through the link address. However keep in mind, if the file size is too big..it wont upload.
