Default Unanswered: How do i post a message on somebodys topic

if u are reading this i need to know how to post a message on someone elses topic.I just started 12/26/09 and i have know idea how to post a message on someone elses topic.So if u help me i will be delighted and u will make my day.

Please do not post in this RED or this BLUE. They are reserved for staff only

I think by "topic", you mean thread?

Just click on one, scroll down, type your message in the box towards the bottom, and click "Post Quick Reply".

Oh, and please don't use the red ink, it's reserved for the admins.

but when i go on one that doesnt have the box at the bottom does that mean i cant post anything?

Are you trying to post on a thread that has been closed, by chance? If you are, then no, you will not be able to post on it.

It is most likely closed. You'll see a lock at the top of the thread if it is

I think Ranger and Cocoabean are right.

If it is closed, you'll see this symbol at the top (and you won't be able to post on it):

To post on a thread (which is a ''topic'', started by a member), you will see a box to type in at the bottom of the screen. Just type, and click Post Quick Reply. If you cannot post
(you will not see the box to type in), then the thread has most likely been closed. Don't worry, nobody can post on a closed thread.
