Default Answered: How can you secure a given account?

Not sure if this is the right place. Basically what I want to know is there anyway to totally secure an account someone gives you? I know you are suppose to be able to change the password (have no idea how) but if they still have a pet code couldn't they take the account back over since they would know the information that was put in like state birthday etc when the account was set up?

If you are given an account is there anyway to make sure it can't be hacked later? Thanks

There is no way to secure an account. As long as the original owner knows one of the pet codes, he/she can always take the account back.

This is one of the reasons Ganz does not allow for accounts to be transferred from person to person.

So that's a no? LOL

It's not a close friend or anything, otherwise I wouldn't worry. Just someone a friend knows that has an account that expires soon and they aren't going to renew it. They knew I played so asked if I wanted to take it over. Chances are it would be fine, I doubt they'd go through the trouble to get back in, I'm just not overly trusting I don't even know if they have the code cards anymore probably not but you never know.

Do you know how to change the password at least? I guess I could send any good items to my other accounts and my kids. Hmm
