| | Re: hey how do you use a picture for a profile picture
Oops, sorry, that post above with the link wasn't there when I began to write this!
Maybe it is still useful so I won't delete it, but sorry!
I can try to explain it for you:
First, you have to create an album with your picture in it. You can do this by going to your profile page. Then, click on an existing album and add your picture or create a new one by clicking "albums," then "add album," which is at the bottom. Once you have made an album with your picture in it, go back to your profile page. Under your profile picture, there is a button that says "customize profile." Click on it. This will take you to a page with lots of boxes for settings to customize your profile. In the first box, under the heading "main," there is a little icon of a landscape picture. When you click on it, you can choose an image for your background that you saved earlier. Make sure you click on "both," which is in the drop box to the right of the icon with the landscape.
I apologize if this sounds confusing-- but you will get the hang of it! For more information, there is a guide somewhere, but I can't find it! Maybe if you search around a bit you can find it, or someone else might post a link to it.
I hope I helped!
