You'll spend awhile in the Gift Training Section, learning the ropes of trading on WI. There are protocols to observe. They'll start you out on lesser value items; you can't start by trading the new, hot stuff or the old, retired, rare stuff. But you can have a lot of fun, trading common exclusives, PSIs, birthday cakes, balloons, island souveniers, PSFs etc. It's good practice for the "big GE" which has a lot more traders and all the rare, new, valuable stuff open to you.

But don't be discouraged by this--trading is a lot of fun and well worth the wait You can read the information links you've been given by others, get really familiar with the WIGEV (Webkinz Insider Guide to Exchange Values) and look at the pictures of all the WW items in each section. (Click on the note at the top of each section to see the items). Make lists of what you have to trade, and what you'd like for your collection in return. Do some adoptions; shop at the Curio Shop for "Curo Shop Only" items you can trade in the TGE (Training Gift Section). Spend a lot of time on WI, learning all the sections, making your posts. I learn something new about WW or WI every day here! Waiting can be a time of anticipation and excitement...enjoy your route to becoming a WI trader!

Hope to trade with you down the road!

thanks this was super helpful to me can't wait lol.

Thank you for posting this! I know I didn't ask the question, but I am trying to be a Gift Trainee and this is a wonderful explanation of what to expect. I can't wait!
