I have been having trouble getting into WW. I know it has to do with my computer. It worked up until yesterday. I can get to the ww main page and I can enter my username and password. Then it goes to the screen with the grass and the w...as if it is going to load the dock etc but never progress, just gets stuck.
I have tried clearing the cache. I don't know much about plug ins or add ons...like Active x..but could something have been enabled or disabled to prevent WW from actually loading??
Huh.... That's really weird... I think you might want to turn off ActiveX first, that always gets in the way of things... If you get that question where it's like "There is something in the script that may harm your computer, Would you like to abort?", and you click "Yes", then that causes the problem sometimes. If you still don't get it to work, I'd give Ganz a call (or your guardian, if you're under 1, and see if they could be of any help to you. I'm so sorry this is happening to you, and I wish you the best of luck!
If you have cleared the cache sometimes it helps to also clear your computer as well, go into your start menu, click on accessories, then click system tools, then click on disk clean up, if nothing else it will rid your computer of a bunch of unwanted junk and speed things up
If you have another internet browser, like Firefox, for example, you could eliminate whether the issue is with an Internet Explorer issue or something else. Just a thought.
You could also run Internet Explorer without add-ons to eliminate it being something broken by a recently installed IE add-on. Go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)...
Good luck getting logged on. If those don't help please post back so we can know to look at something else...
