I have seen post around somewhere that said that their pet was ruined. Some say they got discolored and some say that nothing happened to them. I washed three of my sons pets on very gentle in the wash with little soap and dried for a few minutes. Then I let it air dry. They ended up being fine. This was because his sister got sick on them if you know what I mean. I wasn't going to hand wash them if vomit was on them. They are clean and fine. I would follow the instructions on the tag. I believe it says to hand wash them. I wouldn't intentionally get them wet.

Hmm...I don't know, to be honest. All I know is Webbies can be machine washed. This thread is in the right section, don't worry about that but I'll search for a thread like that for you.

Just be careful. I have heard in many cases that their fur falls out. I would hand wash if they need to be washed. Just follow the instructions on the tag and you should be fine.

I couldn't find anything...but I saw this on webkinz.com :

Can I machine wash my pet?
No, your Webkinz Plush pet should not be washed in a washing machine. If they are looking a little scruffy, and a bit of a wash seems like a good idea, please wipe it with a damp cloth with a little, teensy-tiny bit of baby shampoo. Next, wipe it again with a damp cloth, this time with no soap.

So, I was wrong, you can't wash your pet in a washing machine.

My daughter likes to bring them in the shower with her. She hasn't had any problems hand washing them. I wouldn't put them in the dryer because the heat will burn the fur.

I don't think you should put them in the washing machine - just to avoid any risks of having your webkinz ruined.
Like luvzingoz said, it would probably be best to wipe your webkinz.
