Default Unanswered: Help needed

My grandson adopted a new pet today. Since then he hasn't been able to log into his account. He had seven, the new one shows up when he logs in, but the box comes up and says they can't connect to Webkinz, and he will be logged out. No other choices. I am able to log into my account on all the computers in my house. He can't. Do you know if there is some glitch in the system that won't let him on now?
Thank you in advance. I'm new to this forum, so please direct me if you are able to.

Well, ever since the Christmas Fiasco, there have been (and still are) TONS of problems with WW. It ranges from not being to name rooms to the tournament area being closed to items disappearing from accounts. I would say give it a few days, then if the problem isn't fixed, send an email to support@webkinz.com. I had the same problem when I created my account, and it took time to fix.

thank you. I really appeciate your insight. I hope you are right and they will correct it sooner rather than later. In the meantime, the 8 yo is pretty frustrated. His account worked fine until he added the new wk.

When I registered my first wk, I bought a couple of rooms. After I purchased an old fashioned sink for my powder room, as well as other items, I couldn't get into that room forever!!! Two doorways, and every time I tried to get into the room, even jumping on the map, the "loading furniture" would get stuck and freeze me out. Now it works...I think they had a glitch on the sink because I tried to create the same bathroom and when something extra showed up on the sink, I removed the sink, sold it back and moved on with something else.

Try clearing your cache, like blueeyes said. If you do not know how to do this, there are instructions on webkinz.com (not when you log in, but on the actual page, I will post a link if I find it)
I recommend using Firefox. Ganz reps have told people that Webkinz will run more efficiently if you use Firefox, and I personally find that it does run a lot smoother.

unfortuneately yes many opeople don't have access to their accounts now including me. Here is what they said about being stuck at adoption and stuff.
Over the past week, technical difficulties have reduced the level of service of Webkinz.com below acceptable levels. We would like to take this opportunity to apologize for these issues and tell you what we will be doing for all of our great members who were inconvenienced over the holidays.
Our main problem was a technical issue that impacted the Adoption Centre leaving some of our newest members stuck in the adoption process. If this problem has affected you, please know that we are currently in the process of fixing all stuck accounts. This process is running day and night, and we expect all of the affected accounts to be fixed over the next few days. When your account is fixed you will be able to complete your adoption and begin enjoying everything Webkinz World has to offer. If you have contacted Customer Service about a new account, you will receive an email when your account is ready (note: some of these emails were sent blank . If you received a blank email, check your account, it has been fixed).
Additionally, further technical issues led to interruptions of service for many of our users. We are confident that the fixes we have implemented have dealt with our key problems and that service will now be back at a level where everyone can fully enjoy our great site.
As a token of our appreciation for your patience, we will be awarding an extra 500 KinzCash and a 1 month account extension to all accounts that were affected by these issues. This award will be done automatically at some point in January when we are certain that all affected accounts have been properly fixed and the issues successfully dealt with. You do not need to request the reward in any way.
