To take a screen shot, press Alt + Print Screen (prt scr). Open Paint (start menu --> all programs --> accessories --> paint.) Once pain is open, click Ctrl + V or choose Edit --> Paste.
When you save it, you can save it as a .jpg.
Sometimes, a window shot is too big for WI, so I usually crop the window to just the area that I need. You need to choose the button to the left for cropping. It looks like a square-ish object with a dotted line. Then you click and drag over the area you want to keep. Press Ctrl + X. Then choose Open new file and click no that you do not want to save. Once a new paint page is open, click Ctrl + V. Voila!!
For a mac (apple) computer, you click the little button beside the space bar, (it has an apple on it,) Hold it down, hold down 'shift', then press '4'. That'll let you choose your screenshot. For an entire-page screenshot, hold down the button beside space bar, hold down 'shift', then press '3'. The image will apprear on your desktop. I don't know how to do it for a PC, sorry.
