ok so my keybored is sooo messes! help me whats going on when i try to put a question mark look what it does: É and when i try to put the little squiggle thing it does / and i put the weird arrow thing thats near the space bar it does " help!! i wanna know whats going on and how do i fix it ): ): ):
I would try a couple of things:
Make sure you are not in caps lock mode or NumLk mode. These two modes can change your numbers and punctuations.
Another thing is check the font you are using, Make sure it is a standard font. Sometimes fonts can have weird substitutions for certain keys.
The last thing I would try is to completely log out and shut down your computer and reboot.
If none of these things work, I would have an IT person look at your keyboard, there could be something wrong.
Are you on Vista? Your keyboard may be mapped to a different language. Close out of your programs, and go to Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Keyboards and Languages > Change Keyboards. You should be able to change to English. If it keeps happening, you may have to delete the keyboard map that's causing problems -- but if you don't own the computer, please check with the computer's owners before doing so.
